The preparation contains D-mannose, a simple sugar - monosaccharide - which is a component of some polysaccharides that make up the shell of seeds, but is also found in some fruits (blueberries, Aloe vera, etc.), honey and oligosaccharide compounds that form the cell walls of certain fungi (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). D-Mannose is not absorbed into the body, but is excreted through the kidneys and quickly enters the urinary tract. Some literature also describes its positive effect on the health of the urinary system. ABOUT D-MANNOSE AND ITS EFFECTIVENESS

E.coli bacteria cause nearly 90 percent of the problems summarized as urinary tract infections, colds. E.coli bacteria belong to the normal intestinal flora of the human intestinal system, but even this normal E.coli should not be in the bladder or urinary tract. By dividing and multiplying in these areas, it can cause unwanted inflammation /urinary tract infections, colds/. The “cell wall” of E.coli is full of tiny finger-like protrusions. The tips of these protrusions consist of complex amino acid sugar molecules, called lectins. E.coli lectins are able to stick the bacteria to the inner wall of the urinary tract and bladder, and therefore cannot be washed out by urine. When we ingest large amounts of D-mannose, it is almost completely excreted in the urine by the kidneys, effectively coating the E.coli bacteria present there, so they can no longer adhere to the inner walls of the urinary tract or bladder. As a result, E.coli is literally washed out of our body through normal urination!
