VSL# Balance is a highly concentrated live flora dietary supplement containing 90 billion CFU of 8 different bacterial strains , with the addition of vitamin D3 , thus effectively contributing to the normal functioning of the immune system and cell metabolism. The composition of the live flora of the product is based on the OttaBac(R) formula, created based on the 8 bacterial strains that have been proven in the VSL#3 dietary supplement for decades, and contains lacto- and bifidobacteria strains in varying amounts.

The manufacturer of the VSL# Balance  probiotic is the same Actial Pharmaceuticals that also produces the unique and decades-long research-backed VSL#3 probiotic. The capsules, containing 90 billion colony-forming units, are 7-10 times more concentrated than probiotics available in the domestic market.
